Sometimes the little things make all the difference. From custom reception desk designs and work stations, to special one-of-a-kind design features and architectural elements, I work with my clients to create unique solutions to exceed expectations.
AS-BUILT PLANS AND DRAFTING
Many clients, including developers, realtors, and contractors request my services for as-built measurements and related plans on properties they already own OR are looking to acquire and renovate. I've created as-built plans for spaces from as little as 1,000 sq. ft. to 100,000 sq. ft.+
ABOUT ME
If you're looking to renovate your home, corporate office or starting a new build, I can assist you with every facet of the project - from assistance with the space plan down to the last doorknob. Past projects have included; senior living facilities, model homes, residential developments, multi-story student housing, medical and commercial offices, restaurants, retail, and industrial buildings. With the proper design, any space can be turned into an environment of well-being and efficiency.
After graduating with a BFA in Interior Design from James Madison University in 2005, I worked in both a large architectural firm in Washington, DC, as well as a local design-build construction company. I received my NCIDQ certification in 2008. Kate Phillips Design was established in 2011.
Whether it's assisting a client with creating a unique brand identity through design elements and finishes, providing a refresh to an existing space through space planning, furniture and fixtures, or working on a new project that is one-of-a-kind, I always place your wishes first - it is, after all, your space.
Many clients have difficulty visualizing how the inside of a space will feel before it is built with finishes and furnishings installed. An interior rendering, utilizing the floor plan for a basis, can aid in helping clients do just that.
